About Sadie Williams
I discovered a great love for capturing moments in time through the lens when I was about 12 or 13. My mom gave me her camera and basically said "shoot what moves you". So I did and just fell in love with film. At the time, it was photos of my cats, dog and Barbies. Through high school and college I would spend countless hours in the darkroom, my hands saturated with photo chemicals. I still love that smell today, though digital replaced film for me some years back. What moves me now, instead of Barbies and cats, is the beauty of individuals sharing a connection. The look the bride and groom may steal of one another and the intensity and emotion of the big day. I have an untraditional artistic style that has evolved over the last seven years of serious shooting and love to take unconventional photographs. Having a good time and making you feel at ease is my goal-- to be like a member of the family. After all, you want those photos to be fantastic memories! I’m a little bit rustic and funky and have a love for old things, beauty and nature. I’m subtle and not invasive as I want your day to just unfold. I wont make you stand around posing or make your face hurt from smiling too long. If you would love to talk about your up coming wedding or any photo ideas for that matter, possibly Kim and I are your girls!
